This story started off a little slowly. I piqued my interest so I could not leave and go to a new book Adams's life with Pho and school completely keeps her pet condo on a separate plsne. I really like Ige'd part of the xtory. I loved it!
Paranormal is not usually my thing, but with Fox and Adama it's so much more. Anybody that has read about the Dogon-Hunters knows that Fox's heart is unavailable. In this novel, we meet the love of his life, Adama Drame. The Hunter's Sister is well-written and fast paced with just the right amount of heat to keep Fox's fans (me) salivating. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
Look out Zane, this is hot.
After reading Scented Lust and Scented Dreams I was already a fan of this series. Fox was already one of the best characters I've ever encountered in print and The Hunter's Sister took my affection for him to a new level. What I liked about this novel is that it was hot, as hot as erotica I've read, but there was a good story there that I really wanted to know what happens to these people next.
Great story about a female hunter. Beginning early in her existence and watching her mature was inspiring. She exceeded my expectations always. Well written.
I really enjoyed reading 'The Hunter's Sister (A Dogon-Hunters Series Novel,), it kept me interested I did not want to stop reading.
The characters were deeply involve in their mission of protecting the different universes, yet spices enough where you grew with the Characters. I also felt the book showed a mature nature that you can be ruthless and loving at the same time (a softer side).
Fox and Adama, were true to form, I cannot wait until the sequel is published or/and a movie is created, I am sure there is more to come, keep up the good work we need more interesting books without the hardcore drama. MORE!!
The read, at first, was kinda slow for me, but when it started to pick up, the book ended. I enjoy reading about Ogo, as he is a memorable character for me.
First off, a disclaimer I am one of Jacqueline Turner Banks' many friends, and I admire her work. My all time favorite was "The New One" from her Judge and Jury series. But let me tell you, "The Hunter's Sister" is the best thing I've read in a very long time. This book haunts me. Long after reading it, I continue to think about Ogo. He stalks my mind. I am just as drawn to him as Adama was. I am beginning to think I have "gifts". I am new to this genre, but I like it, that is if it all is this good. Did I mention the heat as in sexiness? Did I mention the Motherland? Did I mention the Sangsue as in blood suckers? 'Nough said Read the book!
